Job Posting: Ophthalmic Technician
Location: Saginaw, MI
Wage: $17.00 – $23.50 per hour (based on certification and experience)

Qualifications:

  • COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant) or COT (Certified Ophthalmic Technician) certification preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Previous ophthalmic or optometric experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and record patient histories and visual acuity
  • Perform preliminary diagnostic testing and assist physicians during eye exams
  • Administer eye medications as directed
  • Maintain and clean ophthalmic instruments and equipment
  • Ensure a positive and efficient patient flow
