Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in selecting eyewear based on prescription, lifestyle needs, and facial features
- Take accurate measurements including PD, OC height, and frame adjustments
- Educate patients on lens options and coatings (e.g., anti-reflective, blue light, transitions)
- Place eyewear orders and follow up with labs to ensure timely delivery
- Perform adjustments, repairs, and fittings of glasses
- Maintain inventory and display of optical products
- Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure patient satisfaction
- Collaborate with eye care providers to ensure seamless care
Qualifications:
- ABO certification preferred but not required
- Previous experience in optical or retail setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records
