Oculoplastic Surgery: Blepharoplasty

Patients often have excess skin that is unsightly and may block vision. Surgery to remove this skin can be done under local anesthesia, with only a numbing gel to anesthetize the area.
Usually, no IV is required. There is mild to moderate swelling and bruising whichresolves in 1 - 2 weeks. sutures are removed in 1 week.
